My clinic space

The structural elements in my space are aimed to provide clients with Comfort and Safety.

The walls in my clinic are carefully layered with sound insulation materials.

This is to ensure that clients can feel at ease as they share their most vulnerable and personal stories.

My clients' feeling of safety is worth every additional resource dedicated to this step of renovation.

Frosted decal is applied to entire main glass door.

This effectively protects the waiting area from public's view as clients and caregivers get to unwind in peace as they wait. After their session, they also have the option to consolidate their thoughts in peace before heading off for next activity.

A cosy waiting area nestled within the space

This waiting area is meant to be a place for clients to pause and review before heading into therapy. It is decorated and painted with colours that provide sense of tranquility and peace. Clients are greeted with relaxing background music and new resident green friends (don't worry, they are peace-loving). There are lifestyle reads for your reading pleasure too.

Full-height window in therapy space

My space is blessed with ceiling-to-floor height window located in the therapy space. The issue with sun glare is taken care of to ensure maximal comfort to clients who enjoy watching clouds in the sky during the session. There is also the option of closing the curtain if clients prefer an even cosier vibe in the space during the session (note: curtains are not featured in this photo).

The interiors of my clinic space are designed based on psychological factors, practicality and of course, largely reflects my personality and style too.

Colours in the space

The colour palettes in my space are decided based on the concepts on colour psychology - where certain hues have universal influence on one's mood states.

Even the colours of the shelves and cupboards were carefully chosen to suit the purpose of each space.

Lights in the space

Instead of conventional lights on ceiling, the lights in my space creates a softer ambience and are easier on the eyes. Due to its design, the overall temperature of the space is unaffected by the lights in my space.

Such light can be helpful for clients with sensory sensitivities.
